Arana Hills - Arana Hills means "welcome" in the local Indigenous Yuggera language, reflecting the area's Aboriginal heritage and connection to the land.

Ferny Hills - Ferny Hills is named after the ferns that naturally grew on the hilltops when European settlers first arrived.
Gordon Park - Gordon Park features a popular sports and recreation ground used since the early 1900s and is well known for its Australian Rules football club, one of the oldest in Brisbane.
Hamilton - Not only is it a scenic riverside suburb, but it's also among the most affluent in the state
Hendra - The deadly Hendra virus was first identified in this very suburb in 1994, when an outbreak in racing stables led to its discovery. Hence the virus took its name from the suburb.
Kedron - The suburb takes its name from Kedron Brook, a local watercourse.
New Farm - The suburb’s name actually dates back to when the area was used as a second farm for the convict settlement at Moreton Bay. It was literally the “new farm” established to supply produce.
Newstead - Newstead is home to Newstead House, the oldest surviving residence in Brisbane.
Paddington - What’s really cool is that Paddington was originally a working-class suburb for quarry workers from the nearby Breakfast Creek Quarry. Now, it’s a trendy, vibrant area with cafes, boutiques, and a lively weekend market at Latrobe Terrace.
Wavell Heights - The suburb boasts a unique collection of themed street names. For instance, there's a "Canadian cluster" featuring streets like Maple, Ontario, Manitoba, and St Lawrence. Nearby, you'll find a "flower cluster" with streets named Primrose, Lavender, and Violet.
Windsor is home to the historic Windsor Theatre, which opened in 1924 and is still operating today as Brisbane’s longest continuously running cinema.
